💳 ACH Bank Transfers Now Supported for US & Canada Accounts

Businesses using the NMI payment processor can now accept bank transfers through ACH for customers in the United States and Canada.

This long-awaited enhancement introduces a powerful new payment option that helps businesses reduce payment processing fees while offering customers a convenient alternative to credit cards.

For companies handling higher-value transactions, ACH payments can also reduce the risk of disputes and chargebacks.

⭐ What’s New?

You can now accept ACH bank transfers through NMI for:

  • Invoices

  • Recurring invoices

  • Subscriptions

Once the feature is enabled and your NMI account supports ACH, the option will automatically appear as a payment method when customers pay their invoices.

This makes it easy for clients to pay directly from their bank account.

3️⃣ Confirm ACH Is Enabled in NMI

Your connected NMI account must also have ACH enabled.

If ACH is not yet activated, simply contact NMI support and request activation for ACH payments.

Once everything is enabled, ACH will automatically appear as a payment option on invoices.

📍 Where Customers Will See ACH

Customers will see the ACH payment option when paying invoices.

They will be able to:

  • Enter their bank account details

  • Complete payment directly from their bank

  • Avoid using a credit card

Payments will then appear in your transaction records and invoice details just like other payment methods.

🚀 Why This Matters
