Tag-based triggers are a core part of building smart workflows and now, they just got a massive upgrade. With Advanced Tag Filtering, you can create more precise, flexible, and powerful trigger conditions using new operators, multi-select support, and multiple tag filters in a single trigger.

This update gives you complete control over when and why a workflow starts.

⭐ What’s New in Tag Filtering

The trigger condition formerly known as “Has Tag” is now simply called “Tag”, and it comes with three major enhancements.

1️⃣ New Tag Operators

Two powerful new operators have been added alongside the existing ones:

• Equals to – Fires when the selected tag(s) are present

• Not equals to – Fires when the selected tag(s) are not present

• Any of – Fires when at least one of the selected tags is present

• None of – Fires when none of the selected tags are present

These operators let you handle real-world tagging scenarios with much more precision.

2️⃣ Multi-Select Support for All Operators

All four operators now support selecting multiple tags at once.

This means you can:

• Match contacts with any of several tags

• Exclude contacts with multiple unwanted tags

• Reduce the number of triggers needed

3️⃣ Multiple Tag Filters in a Single Trigger

You can now add multiple Tag filter conditions inside the same trigger, using AND logic between them.

🔍 Example:

Want to trigger a workflow for contacts who are:

• Tagged “Lead”

• But not tagged “Low Quality”

You simply add:

• Tag Equals to “Lead”

• Tag Not equals to “Low Quality”

This unlocks advanced negative filtering without complicated workarounds.
